Heart-warming Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 250 ml favorite plant-based milk
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ginger powder
- 1 pinch nutmeg/or freshly grated
- ¼ tsp vanilla powder
- 3 pieces high quality darkkkk chocolate (min 70%)
- 1 pinch salt
- ½ tsp ghee/coconut oil
Adaptogenic extras
- 1 tsp Maca powder
- 1 tsp Ashwaghanda powder
Total indulgence extras
- 3 Tbsp plant-based whipped cream
- 1 Tbsp freshly shredded dark chocolate
Instructions
- Place a small saucepan on medium heat. Add milk, cacao powder and all the spices expect the vanilla powder. Mix well with a whisk. Bring to boil.
- Reduce the heat to a small flame, allow the spices to mix well and add the chocolate pieces to the hot liquid. Whisk well until the chocolate is totally melt.
- Turn off the fire. Add ghee/coconut oil, vanilla powder and adaptogenic extras if you desire. Pure to a favourite winter cup and enjoy the heart-warming effect of this balanced drink.
- For total indulgence experience: add 3 spoons of plant-based whipped cream and top with freshly shredded dark chocolate! Yummy!
